According to analysis of Google Trends data by an international media outlet, New Zealand ranks third globally for searches on ‘ADHD’.
Healthnews looked at the most common mental health concerns, including anxiety and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, and who around the world was Googling them so far in 2024.

​ADHD specialist and counsellor Brett Harrington told Stuff’s daily news podcast, Newsable, she wasn’t surprised by the findings and New Zealand’s placing.
