Don't miss out hearing from international experts about
​the new Australian evidence-based clinical practice guideline for ADHD


​ADHD NZ has partnered with the Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA) to put two events on for professionals with a special interest in ADHD.
​
Both events will include a presentation on the new ADHD guideline, by visiting professors Mark Bellgrove and Dave Coghill (bios are below), which will highlight where the evidence led in terms of changing practice and how New Zealand clinicians can be supported in the adoption of best practice.

​​Those with an interest in ADHD should attend, including:
  • academics and researchers
  • clinical psychiatrists – child and adolescent, and adult
  • coaches and counsellors
  • educational and clinical psychologists - child and adolescent, and adult
  • general practitioners
  • neurologists
  • nurse practitioners with a mental health specialisation
  • occupational therapists
  • paediatricians
  • speech and language therapists
  • students with an interest in ADHD, and
  • anyone else offering support and treatment to people with ADHD.

Both events will take place on their respective dates, between: 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm, with the following format:
  • 5.30 pm - arrival, welcome drinks and mingling
  • 6.00 pm - presentation on the new ADHD guideline
  • 6.30 pm - Q&A session
  • 7.00 pm - meet the visiting professors and network with colleagues over drinks and canapes, and
  • 7.30 pm - departure.

Professor Coghill is committed to the development and implementation of evidence-based pathways for ADHD and has been involved in the development of several National and International Clinical guidelines for ADHD.

​Professor Bellgrove has studied the neurobiology of ADHD for over 15 years and is internationally known for his work on the genetics, neuropsychology and pharmacology of ADHD.
