Survey of Principals and Senior Leaders at Primary and Secondary Schools
Thank you for participating in our survey for principals and senior leaders in primary and secondary schools who have identified children with ADHD in your school.
ADHD New Zealand has received funding from the Sutherland Self-Help Trust to develop resources and an ongoing programme to build on your staff’s understanding of how to support students with ADHD.
We value your honest input as we develop these resources to ensure what we deliver is practical and relevant for schools.
We would like to understand:
The results are anonymised, meaning that nobody, including the surveyors, will be aware of your identity or will be able to connect you to the answers you provide, even indirectly.
It should take 10 minutes to complete, and your participation is voluntary. If there is more than one principal and senior leader from your school participating, we ask that you each complete the survey individually.
Thank you.

We value your honest input as we develop these resources to ensure what we deliver is practical and relevant for schools.
We would like to understand:
- the types of support your school provides to children with ADHD (if any), and
- the challenges arising from providing that support, and
- what you are looking for when selecting professional development opportunities for your staff.
