we're looking for
focus group participants

Thanks so much for your interest and support.

We appreciate your coming to this page, but we have already reached the number of focus group participants that we were looking for.

If you've signed up to get updates from ADHD NZ we'll keep you updated on how this progresses.

Thanks again
The team from ADHD NZ

We're looking for focus group participants to help us develop some learning modules that talk to tertiary educators. The learning modules will help educators understand what ADHD is and provide tools and tips to optimise the achievement of learners with ADHD.

We have engaged with the Tertiary Education Commission, Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua (TEC) who will participate and fund the development of these resources.

To best understand the needs of tertiary learners with ADHD and staff in tertiary institutes, we're looking to hold two focus group sessions with the following people:
  • tertiary learners with ADHD, or
  • staff working at tertiary institutes.

Each session will cover topics including:
  • how you managed your studies or work at your tertiary institute
  • various tools/tips/strategies that you each used to survive, and
  • what your ideal situation would have been.

In addition, we may ask you to:
  • review some of the content we create to ensure we've captured their experiences, or
  • feature in some videos we're creating to talk about this. (The videos will be made available on the ADHD.org website, via login, to tertiary staff wanting to understand ADHD and learn how to support learners with ADHD.)

Currently we anticipate activities and timings as follows:
* Focus group
1 hour
early March
* Content reviewer
1 hour
late March
* Filming
2 hours
late April, early May
We appreciate your participation and have a voucher to acknowledge the time that you spend with us on this.

If participating in our focus group sounds like you, then please complete the form below.

Please also let us know if you'd like to help with reviewing content or participate in the filming.
