Join us for a conversation on belonging

We'd like to understand what needs to change and what solutions we need to create to support you to amplify your voice and feel a greater sense of belonging within your community.

Brought to you in collaboration with Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tāhono, join our conversations on belonging to share your experiences on how ADHD has supported or affected your sense of belonging.

We'll run two sessions, including:
  • Wednesday 22 March, 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm: adults with ADHD, and
  • Thursday 23 March, 7.30 pm- 9.00 pm: parents and carers of children with ADHD.

Over both these sessions, you'll be able to join our safe space and share your experiences and stories of belonging and not belonging.

Picture
Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tāhono will facilitate these conversations. Both sessions will focus on three key questions:
  1. When do you feel like you belong?
  2. What stops you from feeling like you belong?
  3. What needs to change so you feel like you belong?

These stories will help us and IACT understand the identities, values and emotions that underpin belonging and inclusion today and how to better engage communities in creating solutions that enable you to amplify your voices and improve your sense of belonging.

Where: do it from the comfort of your home - both sessions are online.

These sessions are free, but registration is essential. On registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with a downloadable calendar appointment and the Zoom meeting link.

About the facilitator:

Aotearoa New Zealand can be a place where everyone feels they belong. Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tāhono (IACT) is led by the belief they can build an inclusive society, founded on the partnership of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

A more inclusive Aotearoa New Zealand needs collective leadership and action. So in early 2020, they began their work by asking New Zealanders about their experiences of belonging, and not belonging. So far they've met with over 800 people and listened to their stories.
