ADHD New Zealand seeks a General Manager Operations to develop new services and form new partnerships. This part-time contract role offers up to 20 hours per month at $50 per hour, working remotely.

Formed in 1979, we are the largest and longest-standing non-profit organisation committed to supporting those living with ADHD in New Zealand. Our vision is to have a "Thriving ADHD community that enriches the world".
We are committed to our vision by working closely with the ADHD community through key stategies outlined in our plan. Our organisation is focused on navigating information and support processes, advocating for community needs, connecting and empowering individuals, building strong and enduring foundations, expanding our reach through digital platforms, and ensuring quality delivery through strong partnerships. Together, these efforts will enable individuals, families and whanau with ADHD to navigate their lives successfully.
Position summary:
As a General Manager Operations, your role will be to develop services to support the delivery of the ADHD New Zealand 2023-2027 strategy and generate income. This requires you to design and implement new services, form partnerships to deliver the services and ensure these services are high-quality, sustainable and beneficial for the ADHD community.
Reporting to the Chair of ADHD New Zealand Board, you will liaise with the ADHD New Zealand Board, National Coordinator, LEAP Panel, Members, External Stakeholders and Funders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up a programme for paid expert presentations on ADHD topics, establish and coordinate the presenters and set up working agreements.
- Assist in the development of an online e-learning module.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans for the paid expert presentations and workplace e-learning modules.
- Meet sales targets agreed with the Board.
- Support the development and implementation of cost-neutral initiatives for ADHD Awareness Month in October 2024.
- Liaise with the National Coordinator regarding bookings, invoicing and initiatives for ADHD Awareness Month.
Key Qualifications:
- Existing knowledge/experience of ADHD and an understanding of its impact on the wider whanau and community.
- Experience in service development, sales, and marketing.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
- Excellent community skills and proven relationship-building experience.
