"What support is there?"

Once a child is diagnosed with ADHD, it is important that both child and parent appreciate one fact:

"You are not alone!"

Through out New zealand there is a host of support groups available.

Join a Support Group, Use their resources, Learn about ADHD and become your Child's best advocate.

You can find out what other groups and services are in your town via our map of New Zealand.

Also maintain a close relationship with your school. Your school should have a Resource Teachers: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) - teachers who work within a cluster of schools to support teachers, and their students with learning and behavioural needs (Year 1 to Year 10).
