People with neurodiverse brains have tremendous potential and a great deal to offer through the different ways they look at the world. However, without the right conditions, it’s hard for them to reach their potential. This module outlines ways you can support students with ADHD to reach their full potential.
The following suggestions were developed through focus group discussions with teachers, teacher aids, Special Education Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), Resource Teachers of Learning and Behaviour (RTLBs), parents, and students with ADHD.
We also recommend you ask your students with ADHD what they think might help them succeed.
